How to Update or Renew Your ATTEST Product License in ATTEST 7.0

Keeping your ATTEST product license up to date is essential to ensure uninterrupted access to all features and capabilities. Whether you’re renewing an expired license or adding new licenses, the process is simple—but it must be performed by a user with Administrator privileges.

Follow the steps below to successfully update your ATTEST license:

Step 1: Get the License File

Once your license has been generated, you will receive a file named ATTEST_Licensing.tgz from the Veryx support team (support@veryxtech.com).

  • Save this file in the ATTEST installation directory:
    C:\ATTESTclient

Step 2: Navigate to License Info

  1. Open the ATTEST client.

  2. Go to Profile > License Info/Upgrade from the top menu.

Step 3: Upload the License File

  1. Click on the “Choose File” button.

  2. Browse and select the ATTEST_Licensing.tgz file from the installation directory.

  3. Confirm the upload.

Step 4: Verify the Update

Once the license is successfully updated, the interface will display the updated license information, including:

  • License type

  • Validity period

  • Licensed modules

Tips:

  • Ensure you’re logged in as an Administrator; other roles will not have access to the license upgrade feature.

  • If the license file is not accepted, confirm it’s placed in the correct directory and hasn’t been renamed or modified.
